Awning Malaysia – Supplier, Manufacturer & Installer in Penang

TK Kanvas designs, manufactures and installs awnings for homes, shops, cafés, restaurants, factories and offices across Malaysia. Based in Butterworth, Penang since 2005, we handle the whole process in-house: site measurement, fabrication in our own workshop, and installation by our own team. Whether you need shade for a patio, protection for a shopfront, or a weatherproof cover for a walkway, we build awnings to fit your space exactly.

Types of Awning We Supply

Retractable Awning
A fold-away awning that extends when you need shade and retracts when you don’t. Available in manual crank or motorised versions with remote control. Ideal for balconies, patios and home outdoor areas where you want flexibility.

Patio Awning
A fixed awning for porches, outdoor dining areas, walkways and entrances. Built on a sturdy frame with weather-resistant fabric, it provides permanent shelter from sun and rain without any daily operation.

Tension Awning
A modern, minimalist awning with fabric stretched tight over a slim frame. Popular for shopfronts, cafés and contemporary homes where a clean, architectural look matters.

Custom Awnings, Pergolas and Arches
We also fabricate awnings, pergolas and arch-style canopies to your drawings or site conditions, including unusual shapes, curved frames and large-span commercial covers.

Why Choose TK Kanvas for Your Awning in Penang

• Over 20 years of experience manufacturing canvas, tent and awning products in Malaysia.
• Own workshop in Butterworth, which means faster turnaround, easier repairs and replacement fabric when you need it.
• Built for Malaysian weather. We use UV-resistant, waterproof fabrics and rust-resistant frames so your awning stands up to daily sun and heavy rain.
• Custom-made, not off-the-shelf. Every awning is measured and fabricated for your site, in the size and colour you choose.
• Residential and commercial. From a single balcony awning to multi-unit shoplot and factory installations.
• One team from start to finish. No subcontractors: the people who measure your site are the same team that builds and installs.

Where We Install

We serve customers throughout Penang, including George Town, Bayan Lepas, Tanjung Bungah, Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Jaya and Nibong Tebal, as well as Kedah, Perak and the rest of northern Malaysia. For larger commercial projects we work nationwide.
